SUNDAY SCHOOL
Join us every Sunday morning for kid-friendly, Bible based Sunday School. We begin at 9:00 AM every Sunday from September through May.

 

Children ages 3-2nd grade meet on the first floor in Room 7 for Bible story, craft, and game. Children ages 3rd grade - 5th grade meet on the second floor, at the top of stairs in the Music Room.

 

We use Truth and Spirit Bible lessons, combined with the Narrative Lectionary and Faith Five. We also learn Christian songs, make crafts & play games. 

What is Faith Five?
Developed by Dr. Rich Melheim, a Lutheran pastor and the founder of Faith Inkubators, Faith5 is a five-step ritual that’s being applauded across the U.S. for instilling a sense of security and optimism in children. it’s an easy-to-follow formula that covers some important basics and empowers even the least confident discussion leader. Conversation, sharing, devotions, blessings and prayer is now what happens when we come together.

The five steps are:

• STEP 1: SHARE your highs and lows

• STEP 2: READ a Bible verse or story

• STEP 3: TALK about how the Bible reading might relate to your highs and lows

• STEP 4: PRAY for one another’s highs and lows

• STEP 5: BLESS one another
