Jennifer Spohr
Originally from California, Missouri,  Jennifer Spohr was a student of Raymond Herbert at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance.   She was awarded a scholarship to continue study as a graduate student at the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Master of Music Degree in Piano Performance as a student of Dr. William Race. 


Jennifer then began her four year post-graduate study with Joanne Baker, Curators Professor Emeritus and former Chair of the Keyboard Division at UMKC Conservatory of Music in Kansas City, MO.


Jennifer opened her current piano studio after moving to St. Louis in 1996.  In addition to teaching, she has been active as an adjudicator at various festivals and auditions.   Jennifer has served on the MMTA Development Committee, was a sub-committee member for the program committee of the 2008 MTNA National Conference and has served as Vice President for Programs for the St. Louis Music Teachers Association.  From 2004 -2013 she has also served as the St. Louis Center Representative for the The Music Development Program, a division of the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) in Toronto, Canada.  Her students have achieved recognition in various local and state events, including two gold medalists in the St. Louis Young Artist Competition.


In 2007, Jennifer began studying organ with Dr. William Partridge,  Canon Precentor Organist and Choirmaster at Christ Church Cathedral in St. Louis.  Jennifer currently serves as organist and Interim Music Director at Trinity Lutheran Church in Chesterfield, MO, and lives in Ballwin with her husband and 3 sons.



Vicki Dohrmann

Vicki holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education from Lindenwood College in St. Louis, Missouri and a Master of Music Degree in Music Literature from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She also studied music education at the Orff Institute in Salzburg, Austria, Orff Workshops in Vienna, Austria and the Choral Music Institute in London, England. 


Vicki holds Orff Music Certification from the University of Illinois,  along with Kodaly Certification from the University of Colorado.  She has also completed 3 levels of Choral Music Experience with Doreen Rao, Head of Choral Music Institute, Toronto, Canada. 


A music teacher for 29 years in the Northwest R1 School District, Jefferson County, Mo.  Vicki has also taught the Endorsed Kodaly Certification Course at Webster University and George Mason University.  She has taught the Elementary Music Methods Class for Music Majors at Webster University.


Along with classroom instruction, Vicki was the Associate Director of the St. Louis Children’s Choir (1990-1999), the Artistic Director Young Voices Northwest (2002-2009) and the Guest Director of Children’s Choirs for Kirkwood, Parkway School District and Warrensburg Schools.


Vicki currently resides in Ballwin.  She is involved with the Trinity Lutheran Church Adult Choir and teaches Sunday School at Trinity Lutheran Church.
