Sewers Needed to Make Face Masks
Do you sew? Overrun hospitals are facing an acute shortage of masks and people are pulling out their sewing machines to fill the void. All over the country, housebound Americans are crafting thousands upon thousands of face masks to help shield doctors, nurses and many others from the coronavirus. Other masks are being handed out at health clinics and nursing homes. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advises the use of cloth masks to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may not know they have the virus from transmitting it to others. You can read more about face masks on the St. Louis County's COVID-19 page HERE.
