Join the Altar Guild

Members of the Altar Guild prepare the table for worship and participate at communion. Altar Guild members maintain all the vessels that are used for the sacrament. They are responsible for changing the paraments (the cloths on the Table and Lectern) based upon the color that is noted on the Liturgical calendar. They launder the communion linens each week and prepare for Sunday services by vacuuming and dusting the Table, piano and organ each Sunday. After worship services, they are responsible for the “dishes” after the meal. All vessels that are used at the service are washed and stored in the Sacristy. Members sign up each month for the days they are available and the tasks they wish to perform.
